Wow.

Two weeks ago I premiered my first self-produced solo show
“Solo, w/ You”. A nine year dream connecting stories across cities, and communities across borders. Chicago, Racine, and Milwaukee ventured to be in Minneapolis, w/ me - a moment I will not forget. There are many parts still to process, but am grateful to have begun conversations with those who have reached out. No post-show blues here!

Now what? Well…another evening length show is in the distance. For now, I focus on projects within the next couple of months. One in particular originated from “The HIJACK/HAIR+NAILS Supported Residency”, which concluded in May of this year.

“Prism”, an improv score allowing past and future pieces to determine present. I offer my voice to be heard and process a state of awareness in performance. Shine a light and witness it refract beyond expectation.

This piece made an appearance in “Solo, w/ You”, and will now make its third iteration at the Rochester Art Center as part of “The Human Scale”, an exhibition curated by “HAIR+NAILS”.
