As we enter the second half of 2021, I am in disbelief at the speed of time. We crave for slowness, but once in it, we feel disoriented. Or we blink and question what we have done with our time. If you know me, you know I live in the space between moments of the past, present, and future. Gasping for air in a cycle, I enclose myself in these ideas by making dance. What do I do with time? Is it given to me, or do I take it? I prefer the latter, but reality (which sometimes I resist) can be more complex. my first evening length solo show
September 17th/18th, 2021.

For two separate nights, I will challenge myself to remain on stage for forty-five minutes—weaving, experiencing, and sharing my journey as a choreographer and dancer. Collaborations born in Chicago, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis are cornerstones, while journal entries in Spanish and English will speak of my core as an individual. In the months leading up to this intimate self-produced show, I will be offering glimpses of my process and history thus far through consciously limited emails, social media posts, and in-person conversations (preferably over coffee or drinks - reach out to set something up). I hope you share my excitement for what is known: I am making it happen.
